IMG holds first PA workshop in Portland Oregon

On Saturday February 24th, Indigneous Media Guild held it’s first PA workshop at Native American Youth and Family Center in Portland OR. The first of many PA workshops to be held nationwide in several IMG regions, this opportunity opens the door to the film and television industry for Indigenous/Native community members interested in starting a career in the entertainment industry. Behind the camera, Indigenous/Native people currently account for less than .03% of workers on set. IMG is working to change that- offering workshops free of charge to Indigenous/Native community members. In addition to the PA workshop, IMG will also be offering an Intro to Grip and Electric workshop in June! More details to come!
